Today was another productive day on the renovation front! The primary bathroom floor tiles have been laid, and we're gearing up to apply the grout soon.
While our tile guy continued his work inside, Brian and I took advantage of an unexpected cool spell in the weather to pivot our focus to the front yard. We had cleared a lot of tree debris earlier in the project, and it was definitely overdue for some serious landscaping. We spent the entire day raking, creating channels in the soil, seeding with rye, and starting the watering process. To see pictures, head over to our Instagram to see updates in real time!

With this cooler weather upon us, we're planning to concentrate on the exterior of the house. It's a great opportunity to push forward and bring our outdoor spaces up to the finish line along with the rest of the renovations.
We capped off day thirty-nine with a productive trip to American Freight, where we snagged a fantastic deal on appliances, choosing top-of-the-line Frigidaire products. Our shopping isn't quite done yet, though—we still need to pick up a microwave drawer that will be installed in the kitchen island.
